Blackberry Citrus Ricotta Toast

Perfect for brunch or an afternoon snack, this toast recipe is topped with a sweet combination of blackberries, ricotta cheese, honey, orange zest, and fresh mint leaves.

  • 4 slices honey wheat bread
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 pint fresh or frozen & thawed blackberries
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Orange Blossom Honey (or regular honey)


  • Spread approximately two tablespoons of ricotta cheese evenly over each slice of honey wheat bread. 
  • Top each slice with a small handful of blackberries.
  • Grate a small amount orange zest over each slice.
  • Sprinkle approximately one teaspoon of finely chopped fresh mint leaves over each slice.
  • Drizzle a small amount of honey over each slice. 
    Eat up!
