Summer is coming to Portland.
Today’s sunshine nudged Portlanders outside to embrace the warmth and promise of a sunny Saturday.
Our garden is starting to bloom. We have strawberries, carrots, beans, garlic, tomatoes, mesclun, parsley, rosemary, chives.
Our kids played in the sprinklers and had watergun fights.
We dined on a typical summer feast of teriyaki wings, corn on the cob, berry trio.
These are all signs for my family that summer is around the corner. I love it & cannot wait for summer to start!
I’d love to know: what signifies summer for you?
