Mighty Mocktails to kick off 2019
Happy New Year, friends!
So many of my friends tend to start fresh when it comes to their health each January. They go on Whole30, Paleo, and Keto diets. They make fitness goals. Does this describe you, too?
In addition to eating and fitness goals, many folks the world over are starting to embark on the annual trend of enjoying Dry January.
What’s Dry January? It’s simply refraining from alcohol during the month of January. If you’re already going on a Whole30 diet, taking alcohol out of the equation is easy because it’s already part of it.
But that doesn’t mean you are stuck with just sparkling water all month. For all of you who love flavor but want less calories, I’m excited to host a giveaway for a set of Mingle Mocktails!
Mingle Mocktail are non-alcoholic mixes made after some tasty classic cocktails. Currently, these modern mixes come in four fabulous flavors:

When I first learned about Mingle Mocktails, I was admittedly skeptical. Most pre-mixed and package, non-alcoholic mocktail recipes I have tried in the past have been way too sugary for me, and high calorie. So I was impressed to learn that Mingle Mocktails all have just 20 calories per four ounce serving, and have lower sugar than other similar pre-mixed mocktail recipes I have tried. They are made with high quality natural and organic ingredients mixed with real fruit juices, organic cane sugar, and botanical blends.
The result? Delicious, satisfying flavor that is perfect for drinking on its own for non-alcoholic drinks. Also fabulous when blended with your favorite liquor or wine for full cocktail drinks.
Gorgeous Garnishes for Mocktail Recipes
I’ve tried all of the Mingle Mocktails, and truly enjoyed each different flavor. You can certainly add your favorite liquor to these to make even more flavorful (and easier-to-make!) cocktails.
But if you’re looking to keep things alcohol-free, all you really need to dress up these mocktails are some simple garnishes. Here are some of my fave for each flavor!
Cranberry Cosmo: ice cubes frozen with quartered lemon wedges and cranberries, then garnished with cranberries threaded through toothpicks and topped with a mint leaf.
Melon Mojito: garnish with lemon rinds and mint leaves.
Blackberry Hibiscus Bellini: garnish with simple curled lemon rinds hanging from champagne flutes, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and/or hibiscus flowers.
Moscow Mule: Garnish with candied ginger, mint leaves, and ice cubes frozen with quartered lime wedges.
