Happy New Year, dear friends!
I normally end the year with a look back at most popular posts and some of my personal favorite moments, but 2016 was exhausting, y’all – in both a fabulous and terrifying way. So instead, I quietly gave gratitude to the blessings and lessons 2016 held, and focus squarely on the future.
2017. We’re going to have one RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING year!
The New Year Ahead for Urban Bliss Life
This year, I’m excited to bring you even more delicious recipes, more restaurant reviews, more travel tips & stories, and more wine reviews, pairing tips, and winery features. I am also working on cleaning up the blog and creating a recipe index and travel index to make it easier for you all to find exactly what you are looking for.
I am already working on several brand partnerships with food, wine, and travel companies that I personally LOVE and respect, and I have a feeling you will love them, too, if you don’t already!
Domestic and international travel plans are in the works. Do you have travel questions? Feel free to ask me on Facebook or in blog comments!
More food, drink, and travel photo essays. I invested in an awesome new camera at the end of 2016, and I am so excited to use it!
What’s out? Mixology Mondays. I may resurrect them for a cocktail recipe or two here and there throughout the year, but y’all didn’t love those as much as you loved the food recipes, so I’m cutting the cord on those.
My hope for all of you
In 2016, I feel like I’ve gotten to know so many of you via comments on the blog, personal emails, and on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. I am truly SO grateful for this community, and feel like this year, more than ever, we’ll be able to connect even more. I love hearing from each of you!
And on a personal note, I’d like to extend this New Year’s wish to you on this first day of 2017.
Whoever you are, BE YOU. Unapologetically, without hesitation, without embarrassment.
Whatever your dreams, goals, ambitions, and passions are, pursue those with full force.
We all have just this one life. I hope you will all make the most of the year to come to actively pursue your own individual BLISS. And I look forward to enthusiastically riding this next wave of life with each of you.
Thank you, and CHEERS to a new year of adventures ahead!
What are some of your New Year’s resolutions?
