Those who know me well know I am slightly addicted to felt crafts right now. My main project currently is making my family’s Christmas stockings. So far I’ve completed my son’s stocking – he chose a blue felt with a penguin.
I’ve started my own stocking but then realized I would be the only one without an animal (my daughter’s stocking also has a penguin and my husband’s has an owl). Should I have a bird or a reindeer on mine? Right now, it looks a little too girly:
Meanwhile, there are so many fantastic tutorials out there for holiday felt craft projects. I admittedly will likely never be one to post a tutorial, and I don’t know how these amazing bloggers find the time to create them, but I truly am thankful that they do!
This felt tree would be perfect for mantel displays or for festive tablescapes.
I thought these felt ornaments looked easy to make and would be so beautiful on a Christmas tree or even strung together as garland.
In addition to decorating, I’m itching to work on some felt gifts for friends & family. I’ve been eyeing these adorable felt slippers as a potential project for gifts since I first saw it 2 years ago. Of course, the impeccable precise nature of the image lets you know it’s a Martha Stewart craft. My end result, I will let you know right now, would look nowhere near as perfect as these. But it would be a fun gift to create and give nonetheless, right? :)
There are so many more felt decorations and gift ideas that I’ve found, that my head is spinning! One project at a time… one project at a time… :)
