I don’t know any kid, of any age, who doesn’t LOVE to laugh, and what kid can’t use a silly pick-me-up note from mom or dad while at school? My son recently got a great joke book courtesy of our fine friends at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and he can’t get enough of it.
So in addition to my Lunch Love Notes, I decided to design this 2-page Silly School Slips set of free printables. The first page contains six silly basic kid-friendly jokes, and the second page contains six silly kid-friendly knock-knock jokes. They are ideal for younger kids in preschool and elementary school. Here’s one example:
Like the Lunch Love Notes, you merely download the PDF file (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free at Adobe.com), print out onto thick white cardstock, and cut out around the edges of each note. At just a smidge larger than a standard business card size, these Silly School Slips are perfect to tuck away into your kids’ lunchboxes, backpacks, or even back pockets.
Here’s to bringing more silliness into the school day!
