I’ll admit: I’ve never been one to go crazy with Halloween decorations.
Now, with two little kids who LOVE Halloween, I find myself looking forward to creating Halloween decorations. I enjoy this creative time with my kids more and more every year. This morning we started putting out some of our DIY outdoor halloween decorations.
DIY Outdoor Halloween Decorations
This DIY Halloween wreath is SUPER easy to make! I used black and white tissue pom poms, which I may be somewhat addicted to making for every occasion these days. For a little silly spookiness, we added some googly eyes to a couple of the black tissue pom poms.
We’re definitely more into the cute and fun DIY outdoor Halloween decorations more than scary blood-and-gore decorations.
We added some pumpkin lights to frame our doorway. Then we added more pumpkin lights leading up to our steps. The final touch was to add some ghost decorations.
We still have more to do, but I wanted to share what we’ve done so far. Do you make Halloween decorations with your kids? Please share! I’d love to know more about what YOU are doing to decorate your doorways for Halloween!
