It’s DAY 2 of the Urban Bliss Life BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVEAWAYS WEEK! Today’s giveaway prize is all about making one of the busiest times, easier: weeknight dinner time. Weeknights during the school year are a blur of activity, aren’t they? Shuttling kids from school to after school sports and other activities, running from work meetings to work events to making sure you all have enough clean clothes to wear and food to eat the next day. While I’d love to be able to say that we cook a healthy homecooked meal every night and we all sit around the dining table for each meal, we don’t; it’s nowhere near realistic for my family, and I am betting it might be the same in your (equally chaotic? Please say yes!) household.
Whole Foods Market to the weeknight dinner rescue
My favorite “fast food” spot is the grocery store, and I’m over the moon excited that there is a new Whole Foods Market close to my house. I love zipping in, grabbing some fresh, delicious ingredients from the deli, meat department, and bakery (gotta have dessert!) to make a meal, then zipping out. Whole Foods Market has so many great options for busy families, and I love knowing that I’m feeding my family healthy meals that are often locally sourced. That’s why I am SUPER excited to be working with Whole Foods Market again to be giving you the chance to win one of two $50 Whole Foods Market gift cards in today’s giveaway! You can enter the giveaway below. But first: let’s talk about how Whole Foods Market can help us all de-stress in the busy weeknight dinner dilemma.
Example of my Whole Foods Market fast weeknight dinner
Here’s an example of items I grabbed during one quick-dinner-finding trip to our local Whole Foods Market last week: * Medium-sized ready-to-bake pizza * Spring mix salad-in-a-bag * Mozzarella pasta salad * Chicken tenders Everything except for the salad-in-a-bag was from the deli section. Each deli item was packaged up in different portion options, with directions on how to bake the pizza and reheat the chicken on the label. In 10 minutes, we had dinner on the table. I simply added some fresh fruit that we already had on hand. Total cost: $22, and I had enough mozzarella pasta salad and salad fixings leftover for lunch the next day. Food bliss! Everything served at the Whole Foods Market hot food section and their bakery is made fresh each day. They also have large salad bars with excellent soups! Be sure to check with your local Whole Foods Market to learn about their dinner specials each day.
